Play Drop Four
About Drop Four
Discs drop, gravity does the rest, and four in a line in any direction wins. Our computer opponent searches several moves ahead and will punish an obvious double threat, so beating it on hard genuinely takes a plan. There is a two-player mode for the person sitting next to you.
How to play
- Pick a column; your disc falls to the lowest free space in it.
- Line up four horizontally, vertically or diagonally.
- Choose easy, normal or hard, or switch to two-player.
Tips from the people who built it
- The centre column touches more winning lines than any other. Take it first.
- Build two threats at once — one block cannot cover both.
- Before you play, check what your move lets the opponent stack on top of it.
