Play Tile Slide
About Tile Slide
The sliding puzzle your grandparents carried in a coat pocket, now four taps away. Numbers one to fifteen start scrambled and you nudge them back into order through the single empty square. Every shuffle is solvable — we check the parity before the board is handed to you, so no arrangement is a dead end.
How to play
- Tiles can only move into the empty square, one at a time.
- Put 1 to 15 back in reading order, left to right, top to bottom.
- The move counter and timer both run from your first move, not from load.
Tips from the people who built it
- Solve the top row first and then leave it alone. Working row by row stops you undoing finished work.
- The last two rows are the hard part. Get the bottom-left corner right before you touch the final pair.
- Stuck in a loop? Press Shuffle. A fresh board is faster than fighting a bad one.
